Laptop Compaq V3000

Compaq Presario dilengkapi dengan “isi” yang cukup bagus untuk ukuran harga yang ditawarkan. Laptop ini diperkuat oleh AMD Turion 64 2Ghz, Memory 256MB DDR2 (gue upgrade jadi 512 MB), dan VGA GeForce Go 6150 256 MB serta layar 14,1″ (max resolution 1280×800), Free DOS (sorry, no Windows or other OS were included in this package). Oya, laptop ini juga ga dilengkapi dengan cd driver dari pihak HP, oleh karena itu ketika membeli laptop selalu minta dicopy-kan cd drivernya ke toko anda membeli laptop.

Karena laptop ini ga dibundle dengan Windows XP, akhirnya gue instal sendiri. Sempet mengalami masalah ketika akan menginstal driver sound card dan modem, ketika menginstal driver device tersebut selalu muncul pesan error yang mengatakan bahwa device tersebut tidak ditemukan di laptop. Setelah googling beberapa jam akhirnya ditemukan sumber masalahnya. Laptop ini menggunakan Connexant sebagai sound card dan modemnya, dan sound cardnya merupakan sound card yang termasuk High Definition Audio, oleh karena itu kita harus menginstal terlebih dahulu driver UAA dari situs HP atau Microsoft.
Walaupun di CNet laptop ini hanya mendapat score 6.9 tapi gue cukup puas dengan laptop ini. Tampilan yang menawan, spec yang cukup tinggi dan harga yang cukup murah di kelasnya membuat laptop ini bener-bener worth to buy.
